So it turns out that today's been more hectic than we thought so not much blogging. The good news is, however, that I met a tortoise.

We're playing a free show with Lissie tonight at The Flowerpot in Kentish Town. There's only room for 150 so get down early! CHESS CLUB to DJ ON THE 4TH!
It is our very great pleasure to announce that our favourite people EVER - Chess Club - Will be DJing at The Luminaire for the M.D. show on the 4th of June. But they're not just record spinners, they're also record releasers - the Chess Club label has released eps by some of the best new bands going including Mumford & Sons, Exlovers and Kurran & The Wolfnotes. On Friday night we decided to go down to the local pub and test out a few songs on some unsuspecting regulars. Lucky for us the landlord was extremely welcoming and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Later on (and after a few beers) we were cajoled into picking up our instruments again for a bit of a Beatles/Springsteen singalong. Needless to say, there was a strong mix of magical moments and complete car crashes. Oh, and a lot of fun.
